Alex Williams

While born in Madison, Wisconsin; I grew up in northern Delaware. I had the opportunity to attend the Tower Hill School in Wilmington where I was able to explore and integrate multiple passions including engineering/physics, music, environmental science, and robotics. Because of this interdisciplinary STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) approach, I had the opportunity to develop a unique perspective on changing the world through the intersectionality of design, innovation, and sustainability. Building on that core, I am currently an architecture student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where these interdisciplinary ideas are further explored while learning the core skills to be an effective architect for the future. I am excited to be an engaged problem solver for the world’s grand challenges while at the same time providing a 3-dimensional exploration and outlet of the human ethos. While not working in the studio, you will find me actively engaged in collegiate concert choir, playing mellophone in the pep band, and stopping pucks as a recreational ice hockey goalie.
